Rachael had worked in mainstream secondary for 15 years as a maths teacher before joining The Willows in January 2010 as the Maths lead. From there she moved into the role of head of upper school then assistant head before making the leap into headship. When she’s not being a head teacher, Rachael spends her time as an active member of a community church in Langold. When the weather is dry she enjoys riding her Indian Scout Bobber visiting different cafés and the coast. Rachael says that being a head is an honour and privilege as well as a challenge.
