Joanne is a qualified Level 3 Teaching Assistant with additional qualifications in Autism, Mental Health Awareness, Challenging Behaviour, Learning Disabilities and Counselling Skills. She also brings valuable experience from a background in banking. Joanne’s son has attended The Willows since Year 3, giving her first-hand insight into the positive impact the school has had on his progress and development. She strongly believes that every child deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential and that education plays a vital role in this journey. As a governor, Joanne is committed to helping ensure that all pupils receive the individualised support they need within a safe and secure environment. She is passionate about supporting children to grow in confidence, develop key life skills and work towards leading independent and fulfilling lives.
